Golf Course

I am placing on record the wonderful service and hospitality we received at your club last Thursday 14th May .
First of all the man in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful, offering coffee, being patient with us senior citizans and even loaned us a battery which I had forgotten. The course was in beautiful conditions and we enjoyed the game.. Later we went in the clubhouse and again received friendly service .

So top marks for the club and staff and the ten of us from Tytherington GC will soon return.

not one to slag of other clubs in the area, all are decent courses ,but the change in this course over the last 30 + years is remarkable it has been in top condition for a number of years now and getting better each year well done to all the staff , we are lucky to have people who take pride in there job , thanks ,

Roger Arnold – Stockport

Great course, well maintained – enjoyed it thoroughly. May need to take more balls with me next time though as lost alot, if it wasnt lost it was in the bunkers. Think a little more practice is needed in order to avoid the sand/water traps and hit the fairways.

Well where do i start,with the assistance of the vice captain,Mr Wayne Clarke who we contacted to arrange a golf day at the club we were greeted with open arms,from the pro in the shop,all the staff in the catering area down to the greens staff who spoke while we were on the course.

The purpose of our visit was to have a golf day and the president was invited to play,he then offered his services and was photographed with each team on the first,the course was fantastic,if you find better please let me no,,the greens were top notch,clearly the work carried out by the staff showed.

After the Golf with over 50 players involved,the catering staff joined in and provided superb food for all players,nothing can be faulted with anything connected to this course and staff,they are all so friendly and in the evening the CAPTAIN himself offered to do the prizes and raffle,along with some humour,brilliant.

I would not hesitate going back and having any further function,if anyone is looking at finding a venue for a function,this is the place to look,the balcony outside with excellent views helps.

All the staff are a credit to the club,if only other clubs in the area were as helpful….THANKS SO MUCH Houldsworth Golf Club for a great day/night.

Just had a very enjoyable days golf to celebrate our Captains year in office followed by an excellent meal. A Beautiful day made course presentation all the more enjoyable. Welcome by Pro Shop right through to bar and catering staff very good from start to finish. The 3 course meal was of a very high standard and service excellent and the catering staff dealt with the couple of dietary vagaries with a nice smile and professional courtesy. I would have no hesitation recommending others to use this venue for either golf or social events. Thank you one and all

Hi, Just dropping you a line to tell you I had one of the most enjoyable days playing golf that I’ve had in the last 15 years. I can’t believe a club and course like yours is less than 10 miles from where I live. The course was immaculate and a credit to your ground staff, some amazing holes, and the friendliest members and staff I’ve met. In the bar afterwards, numerous members came up to us to tell my 11 year old son that they had seen him on the course and what an amazing swing he had, including your captain. Thanks again for an amazing golfing experience, we will definately be back this year.

Everything from the help in organising the event, the Golf itself and the catering was spot on.
